Description

Want to get into oils but worried about the use of dangerous chemicals, need for ventilation and disposal of hazardous materials? There IS a better way!

Join Maxx Follis-Goodkind to learn how to oil paint without any solvents. This means no need for extra ventilation, hazardous materials or special disposal.

Class includes an introductory set of M. Graham & Co oils, walnut oil mediums, Trekell oil brush set, a plastic palette, and all surface materials needed for the class. All materials are yours to keep. Total materials value is $198.

This class will cover application of paint, layering, textures, glazing and finishing. You will have the opportunity to explore additional paint colors and will receive 15% off any art supply purchases made on class days.

This class has four sessions on the following Sundays:

  • November 10 from 6-8 pm
  • November 17 from 5-7 pm
  • November 24 from 5-7 pm
  • December 1 from 5-7 pm

This class is suitable for students 14 and up. Paintings may be left at Push/Pull between classes to allow for drying.

Maxx Follis-Goodkind spent most of her artistic career admiring, but being intimidated by oils. The idea of having enough ventilation and safe disposal kept her from trying them out. That was until she was introduced to a solvent-free method of painting with walnut oil. Oils are now her favorite medium and she's excited to share this knowledge with you.
