1010 Dale Street NorthReady to ring in the New Year with a new skill? Introduction to Relief Carving is a can't-miss class! Beginner-friendly, it's ideal for those seeking the therapeutic benefits of wood carving as well as those looking to add dimension and depth to wood projects.
Artist and instructor Kevin Ewing will demonstrate various cutting techniques and provide step-by-step guidance. Participants will practice these techniques then apply them to an 8" X 10" basswood board. *Students are welcome to use their own sketch or choose from preselected designs.
Ages 12+ welcome.
About the instructor: Kevin Ewing has been blending craftsmanship with nature-inspired design for decades. His approachable teaching style suits all levels of learners and is sure to encourage a lifelong love of wood carving.
