Are you aware of how special analog film looks? Are you eager to shoot something on Super-8 film? This is for you! This 3-session workshop is perfect, whether you are a budding filmmaker, or an experienced videographer eager to get into analog.
The first session will be spent going over the Super-8 camera functions, getting proper exposures, and the fundamentals of film.
The next week you will get the opportunity for hands-on experience shooting black and white film yourself, as well as assisting your fellow workshop attendees in shooting theirs. This will all be done with instructors standing by to give advice and assistance.
After a 4 week break to allow for film processing and transfer, we will reconvene to dig deeper into filmmaking processes. The class will conclude with viewing all of the Super-8 footage on a film projector that you will learn to load.
You will leave the workshop with a digital copy of all the film shot.
All cameras, tripods, and film included. Open to all levels. Age 18+
