Join Mike from WildWise Botanicals for an Introduction to Wild Mushrooms talk!
Drawing on over a decade of studying, foraging, and mindfully utilizing wild mushrooms in our beautiful Ozark hills, he will teach you the basics of wild mushroom foraging. He will cover when, where, and how to find several common edible and medicinal fungi, as well as how to prepare them. Also covered will be the poisonous mushrooms of our region, so you can learn to forage safely. There will be plenty of time for Q & A as well!
Doors open for lunch at 11am, and Mike begins his talk at 1pm (we have also added an additional, identical talk at 4pm), lasting approximately 1 hour. We recommend planning to eat either before or after his talk. The kitchen will be creating a special geared around mushrooms in honor of this event! Due to limited space, we are requiring that you register for the lecture time you will be attending, but no worries, the lecture is still free. Food & drink are available to purchase at the winery throughout the afternoon.
