Los Angeles Church Road recording artists Iress make the kind of music that submerges you into another world. Heavy. Dark. Electric. Doom-gaze guitars layered over ethereal vocals that distort into anguished screams, and are accented by cinematic drums and dancing bass lines.
Joining Iress are PDX heavies Death Parade is a Portland, Oregon-based band formed in 2015, led by Laura Hopkins (formerly of Blackwater Holylight). Known for a doomgaze/rock sound, the band often explores themes of grief, love, and healing.
Local support provided by Eugene post-rock trio Sensail (ex-Gazelle(s)) who've shown that they're just as formidable, heavy and beautiful as a trio as Gazelle(s) was as a quartet.
