Description
For years, American leaders hoped to make China a partner, rather than a rival. America let China into the World Trade Organization. US leaders told us that the rise of China was an opportunity for the West, not a threat.
Today the Chinese government seems increasingly confrontational. Hong Kong has had her autonomy undermined. Taiwan is under threat. China has increasingly behaved not as one might expect from an ally, but as a hostile power.
What should American leaders do in response? Should we continue to trade freely, or should America reduce her dependence on trade with China?
Two of America’s leading experts will be joining us for a lunch time discussion. Please come along, too!
Doors open at 11AM and event starts promptly at 11:30AM. Tickets are $30 - Seating is limited! This event will be hosted at River Hills Club, 3600 Ridgewood Road, Jackson, MS 39211
