Isaiah Breakfast Speaker Series, sponsored by Brotherhood

Rick Redmond, New England Political Director, American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC)

For more than a year, Israel has fought daily to safeguard its citizens and return the hostages held by Hamas while simultaneously facing mounting threats on its borders and beyond.  Meanwhile in America, support for Israel waned a mere hours after the horrific attacks of October 7.  Politicians called for "ceasefires" before Israel had even responded, campuses erupted in anti-Israel protests, millions parroted Hamas propaganda online, and antisemitic incidents skyrocketed.

How has the American pro-Israel community mobilized to ensure that U.S. support for Israel remains ironclad?  Join us as we welcome New England Political Director for AIPAC, Rick Redmond, to discuss AIPAC's role as America's pro-Israel lobby, and how you can get involved.

AIPAC is a national, bipartisan movement comprised of more than 5 million pro-Israel Americans from every congressional district working to strengthen the U.S.-Israel relationship.  Their Political Action Committee, AIPAC PAC, is one of the largest PACs in America and contributed more resources directly to candidates than any other PAC.  98% of AIPAC-backed candidates won their general election races in 2024.

Rick Redmond is the New England political director for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.  He joined AIPAC more than nine years ago after a career as a government aide, a political fundraiser, and as a print and broadcast journalist.  Rick helps AIPAC members, students and rabbis lobby their members of Congress on issues important to the U.S.-Israel relationship.  He is responsible for all pro-Israel political activity in New England, including recruiting congressional candidates and organizing AIPAC political networks to help raise funds for pro-Israel candidates for Congress.

Attendance on Zoom is free to all for this event.
