At a Crossroads?
Temple member and world-renowned economist, Dr. Allen Sinai will speak before the Temple Isaiah community for the 51st time.
This year, we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the birth of America, the “Land of Opportunity” and the “American Dream”.
It comes at a time of a complicated, topsy-turvy, and sometimes bizarre-appearing world filled with puzzling issues relating to the economy, policies, Federal Reserve monetary policy and Federal Government fiscal policies, an historically unusual, if not aberrant, Washington scene, and a hugely changing geopolitical climate and numerous wars. As always, Allen will cover all of this and somehow make it understandable.
Perhaps never in the recent history of this Great Nation have there been so many Crossroads, uncertain paths and impediments, Big Wave changes, Seismic Shifts, with so many possible outcomes—good and bad—facing individuals, businesses and investments.

Allen and his wife Lee have lived in Lexington since 1971 and became members of Temple Isaiah in 1973. Their son, Todd, became Bar Mitzvah at Temple Isaiah in 1983. Daughter Lauren and son-in-law Dan Aaronson were married by Temple Isaiah’s Rabbi Carey Yales in 1995. The family’s love and gratitude to Temple Isaiah are reflected in gifts to the temple, including the Joe Sinai Enrichment Fund and a tapestry of “The Burning Bush” by Israeli artist Georges Goldstein.
