Israeli Mitzvah Year | Israeli Hug Center at Rodeph Sholom

Description

This immersive program is designed for mitzvah sons and daughters, along with their parents, to strengthen and consolidate their Jewish-Israeli-American-New York hybrid identity. Through engaging activities and experiences, the program invites mitzvah children to connect with their Jewish heritage, Israeli culture, community and family history. Participants will explore their roots, deepen their sense of belonging and engage in meaningful volunteer work that strengthens their ties to their local community. They will also form lasting bonds with a peer group.  

 

תוכנית חוויתית לבני ובנות מצווה והוריהם, שמטרתה גיבוש הזהות ההיברידית היהודית-ישראלית- אמריקאית- ניו יורקית. בני המצווה יעסקו במעגלי השייכות שלהם, במורשת היהודית, בתרבות הישראלית, בקהילה שלהם, בסיפור המשפחתי שלהם, יתנדבו בקהילה ויהיו חלק מקבוצת בני נוער.  

מחיר: $360 לזוג הורה ובן/בת נוער
