We are excited to bring to you a workshop on Israeli Street food! Think falafel, think pita, hummus, tahina, salatim...are you hungry yet? Join us to learn how to make this delicious food with rising star chef Amit Sidi. Join us and watch Amit demo the art of Israeli street food and then get your hands schmutzy while you make your own falafel, pita, and more!
Amit has made a name for herself by fusing the world of vegan Israeli street food with LA's trendy, pop-up food scene. Born and raised in Israel, Amit draws inspiration for B'ivrit's boutique menu - a highlight reel of classic Middle Eastern dishes with a vegan twist - from the markets she grew up frequenting, including Shuk Hacarmel and Natania Shuk. Using only fresh vegetables and seasonings, her modest venture has expanded into some of LA's hottest bars, cafés, breweries, and Smorgasburg. As she continues to delight palates across Los Angeles, Amit aims to expand her solo venture into multiple B'ivrit locations across the country. When she's not busy in the kitchen she loves to travel, watch football, and of course, experiment with new recipes.
Class is limited to 30 people. $75 for WBT members $90 for Non-members
Please bring an apron, this workshop is hands-on! All other materials and food prep will be provided as part of the workshop fee.
