Description
The world was a troubled place in 1936. Germany remilitarized the Rhineland, Italy and Germany formed the Rome-Berlin Axis, and the Spanish Civil War had just gotten underway. And over the next decade 85 million humans would perish, the vast majority innocent men, women and children whose only crime was being in the wrong place at the wrong time or who believed in a different God.
NOTE: This was written as a cautionary tale for its times. Some will see a distant mirror of ourselves. Others will take it as nothing more than a work of fiction. Many will say to themselves, "This can't happen here".
The play will be presented as a rehearsed reading in a radio broadcast format.
Directed by Hugh Breslin
Hosted by SoGlo Theatre and Brunswick Actors' Theatre
