Jacks, an Oak Cliff-raised singer-songwriter stared in Disney’s documentary “Mija” which chronicles the work of her talent manager, Doris Muñoz, who prioritizes working with first- and second-generation Americans to provide greater visibility for Latinx artists.
In 2023, she was one of five recipients to receive a grant from Deep Ellum 100 and performed live at the Sounds of Deep Ellum album release party at the House of Blues.
