Description
Jacks Haupt is a Dallas-born artist from the historic neighborhood of Oak Cliff whose music blends soul, electronic, and experimental influences. She began making music at 17, recording straight through her iPhone, and has spent the past 7–8 years honing her craft both in the studio and on stage.
Rooted in the warmth and emotion of oldies soul music, Jacks’ inspirations evolved to include the boundary-pushing worlds of Aphex Twin, Björk, Thom Yorke, Miss Kittin, Sneaker Pimps, and Underworld. Her style reflects a deep love for music across genres, fusing nostalgic textures with futuristic soundscapes to create something fresh yet timeless.
Driven by a deep passion for evoking emotion, Jacks’ goal is to give her listeners a sense of nostalgia—like revisiting a cherished memory. This is fueled in part by her lifelong love of video games, whose soundtracks and immersive worlds have left a lasting imprint on her music and storytelling.
With a voice that can shift from intimate vulnerability to commanding presence, Jacks Haupt brings her eclectic vision to every performance—an artist unafraid to explore, transform, and push the edges of her sonic identity.
