Share We are a small town theater arts building in Shafter, CA. We host concerts, musicals, plays, business meetings, banquets and more! Our building holds 300 people for banquets and up to 320 for Shows, which creates a very intimate setting for performances. We have hosted many amazing musicians, such as Jon Foreman, Danny Gokey, Jars of Clay, and many more. We are home to the Shafter Children's Summer Theater and the Shafter Young Adult's Theater, run by Cris Starrh with over 25 years of theatrical experience and musicals performed. We have held numerous original musicals by Larry Starrh, in addition to many business events, weddings, proms, bridal showers, and birthday parties. Enjoy an evening with James Garner and his band as they recreate Cash's biggest hits with stunning accuracy in this not-to-be-missed musical event. From special concert airings on PBS stations to shows at Folsom and San Quentin Prisons, it’s easy to see why this is the premier tribute to the “Man in Black.” The show is a fun, toe-tapping trip down memory lane honoring Johnny Cash's life and music, featuring his longtime backing band, the Tennessee Three. Enjoy all the hits of the Man in Black – “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Ring of Fire,” “I Walk the Line,” and more! Seating is first come, first served, there will be no seat reservations. Seating arrangement will be 4 chairs surrounding a small cocktail table. Drinks and food will be available for purchase.
