The NEW JEWISH MUSIC Series | Inaugural performance
Acclaimed violinist and composer Jenny Scheinman brings a world-class ensemble to Columbus for an evening of adventurous, genre-defying music.
This performance will feature music from Scheinman's forthcoming album One Hundred Years Today, inspired by stories of her Jewish grandmother’s remarkable bohemian journey through 1930s Europe — from the wild cabarets of Berlin to the emergence of early jazz taking shape around her.
Thanks to generous donations from presenting partners Capital University Conservatory of Music, A Tribe for Jazz, Temple Israel, and an anonymous donor, tickets are available free of charge.
