Description

Jerrika Mighelle

Wisconsin singer/songwriter Jerrika Mighelle, formerly of sister folk trio QuinnElizabeth, released her first solo album “Like the Sea” in January of 2017. This album has been described as a weighty and atmospheric gem, rife with raw emotions and existential longing. She toured regionally for a year and a half gaining attention for her haunting vocals and charming stage presence. Jerrika’s tunes have been featured on radio stations across the region including Eau Claire’s own Converge Radio, and NPR’s Simply Folk. In February of 2021 she released her newest album "Brightest star," which is now available on all streaming services.

The Nunnery

The Nunnery begins with one voice, layered upon itself becoming a lush soundscape.

Sarah Elstran is an independent musician that bridges the gap between bright-eyed pop composition and hands-on atmospheric live layering of voice. Her vocal loops give us the kind of detail and wide multi-octave range that we might come to expect from a marquee pop star, while her production decisions continually keep us guessing as to what rabbit holes her tracks might fall into next.

Kitchen Congregation

Kitchen Congregation is the solo project of Hannah Morton (LASKA, Harlow). The name for the moniker was a light-hearted play on an observation that Hannah made about how it seems social gatherings somehow end with folks gathering around in the kitchen. Kitchen Congregation songs are meant to be relatable. The songs play around with many other observations Hannah has made about herself and the people around her - many touching on personal anxieties - with a bedroom pop sound.

Kitchen Congregation's debut single, "can't find sleep" is about overthinking and having a hard time trusting yourself and your surroundings. Their debut EP, "i'm not having fun anymore' came out in Fall '21.
