Description
As honest and country as a tumbleweed and a dirt road, John Haywood was born the son of a sheet metal contractor just south of Baltimore, Maryland. He initially set out to become a novelist, earning his BA in English in 2013. In 2019 however, he traveled to Nashville to begin work on a novel about the Music City and fell in love with songwriting. He returned to Nashville in 2021 and has since established himself in the Nashville songwriting community, writing over 300 songs and cutting his teeth in the songwriting circuit. In 2023, he was added to the Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival, the largest festival of its kind in the world, and made his television debut as lead singer of the band Gamblers in the Neon on the AXS show "Banded: The Musician Competition." He also released his first two singles, ““Ghost Town in the Sky” and “Saint,” in the summer and fall, respectively, establishing his unique sound in the Country Music genre.
Joining the bill is SVV Duo. In 2021, fate brought together Victoria (violin) and Stephen (guitar) to form the SVV Duo. Beyond the stage, their personal and musical connection deepened. In 2023 their son, Weiland, was born to the musical family, showcasing an early fascination with rhythm during their performances. The trio turned their shows into a family affair, blending love, laughter, and music seamlessly. As their story continues to unfold, the SVV Duo remains committed to the pursuit of musical excellence, love, and family. Their enchanting melodies and heartfelt performances serve as a testament to the transformative power of music, weaving a tapestry of harmony that resonates across stages, studios, and their home – where the notes of their lives blend seamlessly with the chords of their music.
