Our Centennial Week Celebration begins on Thursday, April 15th, with our very special guest John Mark Sharpe of John Mark Enterprises in Germantown, Tennessee. John Mark is an in-demand floral designer and internationally known speaker. With over a million followers on social media, he is most well-known for his exquisite weddings and his own line of ribbons and bows. He will present a demonstration and talk on Thursday, April 15th at the Cultural Arts Center at 10 A.M.
On Friday and Saturday, April 16-17, we will host our50th NOGS Tour of Hidden Gardens. Headquartered at the historic Harper-Fowlkes House located on Orleans Square, our special 50th tour unlocks the garden gates of selected private gardens and historic gardens for self-guided exploration. Ticket holders will enjoy springtime gardens located in Savannah’s Landmark Historic District, which is the largest in the United States. All the gardens are located North of Gaston Street (NOGS) to the Savannah River. As part of the tour, guests purchasing the trolley or tea packages are invited to a Garden Party and Tea at the historic Harper-Fowlkes House. We anticipate this popular tour will sell out quickly. Record numbers of visitors from all over the U.S. and abroad are expected. Our 2027 NOGS theme is “Through the Decades and Behind the Gates”.
