Description

Vancouver-based alternative singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Jon Bryant mines through his mind, alchemizing feelings into open-hearted lyrics and organic instrumentation. As he experiments with tones, textures, and words, you can hear him figuring out life in real-time. His fifth album, Therapy Notes [Nettwerk], channels the catharsis and clarity of a therapy session. That’s why he’s consistently struck a chord with listeners worldwide. His story has unfolded on a series of releases —Two Coasts For Comfort [2009], What Takes You [2012], Twenty Something [2017], Cult Classic [2019], Half Bad [2020], Back To Love [2021], and Psychedelic Salutations [2021]. Plus, he incited tastemaker praise courtesy of The Line of Best Fit, Atwood, and more. In the five years since his last full-length, he leaned on music to endure “the canceling and delaying of tours, mourning of lost opportunity, and the existential dread that came with all of that.” As a result, Therapy Notes inspires you to open up. “When you listen to me, I want you to be curious about life,” he leaves off. “Always look for opportunities to engage the world and express yourself authentically. For me, music is about making people fall in love with life and each other.”

Whether you have had years of formal dance training or have never danced before, our studio is the place to build on your technique in the best ways possible and love it! Our staff are here to equip you in whatever style you want to pursue whether it's ballet, hiphop, tap, jazz, contemporary, ballroom or break. Try a few or focus on a couple, it's your choice! AND are now highlighting ADULT CLASSES (recitals are optional and there’s no dress codes). We’ve now added acting classes, songwriting classes and Gospel choir to our list of offerings!
