Shakespeare’s classic, Julius Caesar, brings us back to our ancestors in ancient Rome. A populace unable to see reality through a cloud of manipulation. A leader abandoning democratic norms. A revolution becoming confused and corrupted. A powerful country in the initial stages of a great decline. Bristol Theatre Program completes the 2022/2023 season “walking backwards into the future, with eyes fixed on the past.”
