Next up: Jump Cut Roadshow presents Sister Street Fighter - a cinematic masterpiece of epic proportions and the second sequel to Sonny Chiba’s The Street Fighter! Another sister doing it for herself – Sue Shiomi as Tina Long, a female human dynamo karate expert, enlists the aid of loner Sonny Kawasaka (the almighty Sonny Chiba) to rescue her missing brother in Tokyo.
A roller coaster of non-stop gratuitous scenes of broken bones, spraying blood, and butt-kicking madness in loads of interesting and exciting locations. Sister Street Fighter showcases Shiomi’s martial art in a male-dominated world, where Shiomi destroys her enemies with every lethal Karate punch/kick combo you can imagine and sound effects exaggerated beyond anything even remotely realistic. What makes the film extra fun is the assortment of crazy, quirky bad guys and the groovy disco funk score.
Tickets $8 - Ticket price includes admission to the event and a commemorative event poster.
The Parkway Theater has a full bar, so come hang out before the show! Film screens at 10:30 pm.
