WRITING AMONG FRIENDS
Generative writing workshops for writers of all levels
If the idea of sitting down to write feels daunting, or if carving out time to do so feels impossible, or if you simply like to be around other humans while you labor over your sentences, join us on Tuesday evenings this fall for the Writing Among Friends workshop series. These 2-hour writing sessions, hosted by novelist Molly Prentiss, are geared toward igniting our most inspired selves and creating with abandon — free from distractions of the real world, outside judgement, or unnecessary fear. The sessions will consist of an hour of uninterrupted writing time, bookended by (optional) sharing of readings, writings, prompts, and feedback, with the goal of inspiring and supporting each other as we endeavor to build worlds with words.
When: Tuesday evenings, 5:30-7:30pm from November 8 & November 15, 2022.
Bring: Laptop or notebook, water or snack, your beautiful brain
Cost: $35/session
Kaatsbaan Cultural Park continues to require COVID-19 vaccination and booster for all outdoor and indoor events, but will no longer require proof of vaccination to attend, in line with NYC theaters.
We are unable to accept cash. Please note that class fees are non-refundable.
