Description
In this short 2-session workshop, we will work with the colors of the autumn landscapes of Kaatsbaan as we explore both abstract and representational ideas. As we work to clarify and simplify what we see, we will focus on the way in which relations of color create sensations of light and space. Participants may choose to work in either oil or acrylic. Expect to make at least 2 paintings. This workshop is generously supported by Golden Artist Colors, Inc. Acrylic paints will be provided for each participant. Please see below for the materials needed for this workshop.
This workshop will take place Saturday and Sunday, October 15 & 16, 2022 from 1:00-4:00pm.
Cost: $150
Kaatsbaan Cultural Park continues to require COVID-19 vaccination and booster for all outdoor and indoor events, but will no longer require proof of vaccination to attend, in line with NYC theaters.
We are unable to accept cash. Please note that class fees are non-refundable.
