Description

Kailee Duggan is a singer-songwriter from the Okanagan Valley in BC. At the age of 8, she bought a guitar and began to share her originals at local coffee shops and open mic nights. Her skills and passion steadily grew over the years and she’s been playing at various local events and venues ever since.

Kailee’s artistry is inspired by the likes of Bahamas, Norah Jones, and many more. Her style has been described as a diverse mix of genres with a soulful folky twist.

This past year Kailee opened for Craig Northey of “The Odds” at the Dream Café in Penticton, Dan Mangan, and played a full band set at Nest Fest in Kelowna, sharing the stage with the Likes of Bahamas, Paper Kites, and Boy Golden.

In January Kailee released her first single “So Bad At Being Alone!” available on all streaming platforms.

Kailee Duggan Music: A Melodic Journey Through Emotion.

Volunteers are a 3 piece (sometimes up to 6 piece) garage country group from the North Okanagan. They take influence from John Prine, Gene Clark, Buffy St. Marie, The Flying Burrito Brothers and other psyche country acts from the 60s and 70s, blending them with traditional folk and country songwriting conventions, and dense lyricism about love, mortality, compost and garbage.
