At Kailua Creative Arts Academy, we believe the arts are a beautiful way to reflect God’s light in the world, nurturing confidence and connection through creativity. Hosted by New Hope Kailua, we welcome all families into a space where everyone can shine brightly as they discover their unique gifts.

**Our academy is currently focused on school-age through adult-only (Kindergarten through 18 and up). Each class is designed for attendees within its age range.
The academy will run from Tuesday, February 3rd, through Thursday, March 26th, with a break during March 16th–20th.
***LAST MINUTE REGISTRATION CLOSES ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 14TH @ 11:59PM***
Classes are held once a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (Check-in begins @ 5 p.m., attendees must be checked in by 5:20 p.m.)
A hoʻike, or performance night, will be held on Friday, March 28th, to showcase the creativity students have developed over the past 7 weeks.

Tuesday Classes:
Beginning Painting (Ages 12+)
Even if you’ve never painted before, we'll enjoy learning the basics of watercolor and acrylic through simple activities and projects that encourage you to express your creativity. Every student will go through the creative process from idea to masterpiece and leave with their own acrylic painting that showcases their style and ideas.
Crafty Keiki STEM (Ages 8–11)FULLY BOOKED
A fun, hands-on, creative learning experience where Hawaiian culture and crafting meet the excitement of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Each weekly class blends art, engineering, science, and imagination, where keiki will explore how things work, build confidence through problem-solving, and create meaningful crafts inspired by island life.
Keiki Hula AND Keiki Choir (Ages 6–12)
Students will be learning both hula and choir, using the beauty of hula to spread aloha through every movement. It is also a vocal class that teaches kids how to uniquely blend their voices together for one beautiful sound.
Keiki Theatre (Ages 7–12)FULLY BOOKED
Students will learn to gain confidence on stage! We will focus on scene work and improv games! They will have the opportunity to write their own scenes and perform pre-written ones. It will be a fun time! At our showcase, we will be performing the skits we have learn!
Thursday Classes:
Drawing (Ages 6–12)FULLY BOOKED
Beginner drawing and shading
Creative Prayer Encounters (Ages 15 and up)
Activate your faith through colorful, creative prayer projects.
How to Register

Enter the Attendee’s name in their respective class
Confirm that you’ve read the Terms & Conditions and Waiver Agreement
Review your registration and then click ‘Purchase’
- A confirmation email will be sent to you with a link to our donation page to complete your class registration.

- If registration for a specific class is filled, you will be placed on the Waitlist. The facilitator of that class will reach out to attendees in the order of those registered on the waitlist when availability is made.
