The featured band for this show is led by saxophonist and recording artist, Spunk Adams. He will be bringing his band to the Swanee Theater in Kannapolis August 2nd at 4pm.
Spunk Adams is an award-winning saxophonist who has opened for the likes of R&B Artists Layla Hathaway and Chrisette Michele. He has performed the National Anthem for the Oklahoma City Thunder as well as events at the Spectrum Center and Middle C in Charlotte.
Spunk Adams is a jazz fusion saxophonist and cultural media personality based in Oklahoma City, known for his raw, expressive tenor sax tone, Adams blends modern jazz improvisation with groove driven fusion and contemporary influences.
Beyond the stage, Adams co-hosts the radio show "Talking All That Jazz" with Dr. Amanda Adams, highlighting modern jazz artists, culture, business, and health conversations with the jazz community.
