Karunya, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is thrilled to present "Roopa Viroopa," a fundraising charity show that reimagines the classic "Beauty and the Beast" tale through an Indian classical production. Choreographed by Dr. Sanjay Shantaram from Bangalore, India, this mesmerizing event features enchanting music and dance, vibrant costumes from India, and over 60 performers from the DMV area accompanying the International artists, ensuring a visually stunning performance. The inclusion of English dialogues makes it accessible to a broad audience, promising an afternoon of captivating entertainment.
The event will kick off with stunning classical dance performances by Dr. Sanjay Shantaram, Anjali Srikant, and Anagha Sreenivas, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience, followed by the Roopa Viroopa Dance Production. This is a perfect opportunity to enjoy a magnificent production and witness the community come together to support a noble cause, all at once. Refreshments will be available for your enjoyment. For those inspired to contribute further, additional donations are welcome. Part of the proceeds will benefit the Anna Sudha Community Kitchen.
