Description

Ken Rumbaugh is a longtime sports artist, and a new Minnesotan who has long loved Minnesota. He and his wife Emily moved to Minnesota from Portland, OR in 2024… A very happy homecoming for Emily (originally from Grand Rapids, MN) after 30 years on the west coast.

Sports and art have always been two of Ken’s great passions. He has spent the last few decades bringing them together to help tell stories too often untold. These passions have opened doors to collaborate with professional athletes, franchises, leagues, and sports museums across the sports world.

His goal is simple: to honor the people who have inspired so many, and use art as a way to spark conversation, connection, and community. He is especially excited for the opportunity to do so in his new community of North Minneapolis at the iconic Capri Theater.

This exhibit will be viewable January through February 2026
