Description
Fear of Heights, a one man show by comedian & actor Kevin Flynn, examines the American experience through the lens of his Irish immigrant family. Flynn’s father and grandfather were both steelworkers and inspired the title of this work. Flynn's grandfather (Paddy Flynn) was featured in the iconic photo from 1932 of 11 workers sitting on a steel beam high above Manhattan, casually enjoying their lunch break. After doing some more research on the Flynn family history, Fear of Heights was born.
Fear of Heights examines what it means to be a man, & how one generation measures success relative to their forebears — themes that run throughout this hilarious biographical work.
