Aspiring young chefs are invited to roll up their sleeves and cook like a real chef in this immersive three-day hands-on culinary camp! Designed to build confidence, creativity, and essential kitchen skills, this camp is perfect for kids who love food and want to learn how chefs think, prep, and cook.
- Day 1: Knife Skills & Sautéing
Campers will learn foundational knife skills, kitchen safety, and proper cutting techniques before putting them to use sautéing fresh ingredients like a pro. - Day 2: Quiche Creations
Young chefs will dive into the art of quiche-making, learning about eggs, fillings, seasoning, and baking while creating a delicious dish from scratch. - Day 3: Putting It All Together
On the final day, campers will combine everything they’ve learned—knife work, cooking techniques, and teamwork—to create a complete dish that showcases their new skills.
By the end of the camp, students will walk away with practical culinary knowledge, increased kitchen confidence, and a true sense of accomplishment—just like a chef!
What To Expect
- Instructor: No Thyme To Cook Lead Chef Instructor
- Length: Tuesday through Thursday, 9AM to 1PM.
- Format: Hands-On: Cook alongside the Chef as you follow step-by-step instructions to create your own dishes. The Chef is there as your instructor, guiding you through techniques and answering any questions along the way.
- Location: Second floor: Please note that our second floor is ONLY accessible via stairs.
- Restrictions: Ages 8 to 12.
