Kids Canvas Painting Classes (June 14 - 17)

FOUR MORNINGS: -- Recommended for Ages 7 and up.

-Tuesday (10:00 - 12:00)
-Wednesday (10:00 - 12:00)
-Thursday (10:00 - 12:00)
-Friday (10:00 - 12:00)

• At the end of the week, each artist will have a series of four canvases that work together as one piece of wall art.
• Basic painting techniques such as blending, shading, shape and composition will be taught.
• Classes will discuss the color wheel and terms such as: monochromatic, analogous, complementary, and triadic.
• We’ll talk about how color creates mood, tension, harmony, and other compositional elements within a work of art.
• If time allows, we will weave in various aspects of art history and how artists used color within their work.

Class limited to 16 participants - Due to the possibility of limited spacing, we encourage parents to drop off and pick up at the end of class.

CLASS TIME: Painting begins promptly at the time listed on the ticket! Please arrive a few minutes prior to start time to park, check-in, unwind, & get seated! If you are late to the class you can still paint, but catching up is your responsibility. Parking may be available behind the studio in the small parking lot. You are welcome to come in our back door.
