Agape Farm of Watha, LLC is an agritourism farm located in rural Pender County between Burgaw and Wallace, NC. Established in 2021 as a family farm and in 2023 as a limited liability company. We offer a place to those wishing to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life for a more tranquil setting. A morning or afternoon spent at the farm might include snuggling a baby goat, a rabbit or checking out one of our hairy coos! Which ever farm animal tops your favorite list, chances are you'll find it at Agape Farm of Watha! We'd love to host your next birthday party, family reunion, or corporate event or just come for a farm tour! Our farm is open by appointment with the exception of our open farm days which are typically held in the spring, fall and at Christmas time.

A Pet and Paint on Canvas Day at the Farm
Nothing says Spring quite like baby chicks, ducklings and lambs and Agape Farm of Watha is in Spring mode! We are pleased to bring back our Kids' Pet and Paint session to the farm! Past Kids' Pet and Paint events have been lots of fun and this one promises to be no less! They will enjoy a unique combination of time spent with Miss Happy Grace our adorable white Lamb, a story time and paint their very own canvas picture of her to take home. It's guaranteed to be both an educational and fun-filled experience. Artist, Cheryl Hardie Holt with Emerge Studio Art in Burgaw will head up the paint on canvas portion.
This event is most suitable for ages 5 to 12.
Event Overview
Our Kids' Pet and Paint session at the Farm includes a guided canvas paint session, by Burgaw's very own artist, Cheryl Hardie Holt of Emerge Studio Art. The model will be our very sweet and lovable Miss Happy Grace. The children will enjoy getting up close with Happy Grace while they learn some cool facts about her. But before heading outside to meet her, there will be an opportunity for a snack (animal cookies + juice) while enjoying a story about a little girl and her lamb! The book Lanie's Little Lamb is a delight for all ages!

Tickets
Tickets are nonrefundable unless the event is cancelled by Agape Farm of Watha, LLC due to severe weather or the threat thereof or due to the safety of our animals. Refunds will be made via Square and either in the method used for payment as long as Square permits it or via a Square gift card for future events.
Other Pertinent Information
Parents are welcome to stay during this event but there is limited inside seating. We have a picnic shelter adjacent to the building where you are welcome to sit during the story time and paint portion of the event. You are welcome to join your child during the meet and greet with Happy Grace.
