Agape Farm of Watha, LLC is an agritourism farm located in rural Pender County between Burgaw and Wallace, NC. Established in 2021 as a family farm and in 2023 as a limited liability company. We offer a place to those wishing to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life for a more tranquil setting. A morning or afternoon spent at the farm might include snuggling a baby goat, a rabbit or checking out one of our hairy coos! Which ever farm animal tops your favorite list, chances are you'll find it at Agape Farm of Watha! We'd love to host your next birthday party, family reunion, or corporate event or just come for a farm tour! Our farm is open by appointment with the exception of our open farm days which are typically held in the spring, fall and at Christmas time.

We're so excited to announce that it's back! We are kicking off the (almost) Fall season with a Pet + Paint Session for the kids! These have proven to be so much fun and such a great hit with our farm friends! Are you ready to sign your child up for some fun on the farm?
A Pet and Paint on Canvas Session at the Farm
Agape Farm of Watha is pleased to host a Pet and Paint session on the farm, just for kids! They'll enjoy a unique combination of meeting Teddy our ever so adorable and youngest Scottish Highland Cross bull-calf, story time, a snack and get to paint their very own canvas picture of him. It's guaranteed to be both an educational and fun-filled experience. Artist, Cheryl Hardie Holt with Emerge Studio Art in Burgaw will head up the paint on canvas portion. Cheryl is a very talented artist and loves to share her love of art with everyone, especially children!
This event is most suitable for ages 5 to 12. Parents are welcome to stay or drop off and pick up at the end. We request only one parent per child/children as seating is limited in our event room.
Event Overview
Our Pet and Paint Event at the Farm includes a guided canvas paint session, by Burgaw's very own artist, Cheryl Hardie Holt of Emerge Studio Art. The model will be our very adorable Teddy, a Scottish Highland Cross bull-calf that was born right here on the farm in mid July! The children will be able to meet Teddy while they learn cool facts about him, as well as some of the other cows on our farm. We will also have a short story time while the kids enjoy a snack.
Don't miss this opportunity to be a part of a unique event that blends creativity, fun and learning. Make sure to bring a friend along for a memorable Pet & Paint experience at the Farm. Spaces are limited. This is a rain or shine event.
Please note that tickets are non-refundable unless the farm cannot open due to the threat of severe weather or in the unlikelihood that the farm cannot operate otherwise.
