Join Valley klezmer musicians including members of Burikes and percussionist Richie Barshay for Klezmer Night Out! – Workshop, Open Jam, & Dancing @ the Parlor Room! An evening of klezmer music and dancing, this event is open to beginners, experienced musicians, music-appreciators, and dancers alike. From 6–7PM we’ll learn classic klezmer repertoire by ear (all instruments/levels welcome) and at 7PM we’ll transition to an open klezmer jam (with sheet music provided) with Yiddish dancing! Come for the workshop and stay for the whole evening, or come to jam, dance, and shmooze. Bring an instrument, your dancing shoes, or both. See you there!
Parlor Room Membership:
Parlor Room Membership is FREE for those with financial need and/or have Masshealth or EBT. Membership available at the door – bring proof of Masshealth/EBT.
The Parlor Room is a BYOB venue. Tickets are non-refundable.
