We are a bricks and mortar yarn store in Northern NSW who run a variety of classes, workshops and events to help you develop your knitting or crochet skills.

Every Saturday from 1-3pm
Knit Club is a weekly 2 hour block of time , where you can come along for some help and encouragement to progress with your projects, whether its knitting or crochet. These weekly drop in sessions are held every Saturday, and are on offer for customers who have purchased either a “Mill & Make” or “Wool And The Gang” pattern from our yarn shop.
*PLEASE NOTE: If you have a pattern from another yarn company or designer, you will need to contact us 3 days before your session with information about your pattern/materials and the problems your having.
KNIT CLUB IS NOT FOR YOU if you’re a complete newbie who has never picked up a crochet hook or knitting needle. Please book into our INTRO TO KNITTING or INTRO TO CROCHET CLASSES first, then once you have these few basic skills under your belt - you will be ready to select your first pattern and come along to KNIT CLUB.
During the 2 Hours of KNIT CLUB you can just cruise along and enjoy the company of other makers - or ask for help, as we have a teacher supervising to help when you get stuck but we also encourage self directed learning with guidance to resources. We do this to build your confidence to take your projects homes and keep working on them. and we have a Mac computer set up to search and watch for video tutorials too.

- How to choose the correct size to make
- Understanding the gauge
- Making & measuring the swatch
- Starting your pattern
- Help with techniques in your pattern
- Completing your project
