Before its official release, Princess Nostalgia brings the Pittsburgh premiere of her album THE ETERNAL CITY to Baum Baum Club: an intimate night built around a project that treats Rome not as a place, but as a psychic imprint: the seat of nostalgia, contradiction, and the myth of permanence.
Princess Nostalgia is a producer-led pop artist born in Rome and raised between Italy and the U.S. Her protest song about Luigi Mangione went viral before TikTok removed it under a "violent extremism" moderation ruling, a flashpoint that landed her a featured role in a Sundance-premiering documentary short co-produced by Rolling Stone Films. She's since gone back to Rome to shoot guerrilla-style music videos inside the Vatican itself, chasing the same tensions the album is built on.

Omari Imhotep Abdul-Alim, a conservatory-trained violinist, Virginia Symphony Orchestra fellow, and director of the Guardians of Sound Hip Hop Orchestra. Featuring original compositions alongside inventive new arrangements, Omari will be performing a dynamic solo program blending live violin, electric bass, looping, and immersive backing tracks to create rich, layered soundscapes.
MACH-1 is the new industrial electronic project from Pittsburgh artist, Tanay Kumta. Built from distorted percussion, mechanical synths, and cinematic sound design, MACH-1 exists somewhere between a live performance, a psychological operation, and a broadcast from a collapsing future. Drawing from industrial techno, post-punk, horror cinema, and underground club culture, the project transforms paranoia, desire, surveillance, and technological acceleration into something physical - music designed to feel as immediate in the body as it does in the imagination.
Miana is a multimedia ceremonialist. Born in Pittsburgh, Italian heritage, prior yogini, devoted to facilitating the awakening and remembrance of our ancient light that lies within. She will be opening the evening with a meditation and some light sound healing. Her offerings include: (1) Astrology and Tarot Readings - tapping into the field to deliver visions and messages for her clients. (2) Reiki x Sound Healing Sessions with tuning forks, drumming, aromatherapy, and intuitive guidance / integration. (3) Monthly women’s circle with ceremonial cacao.
