Join me as I partner with Island Bar and Grill to bring the Pyrography Workshop to the La Vista community! Tickets sell out quickly for these events, so dont wait until last minute if you are interested!
What is 'Pyrography'? It is the use of a wood burning tool to etch or "burn" an image on materials. Typically used on wood, in this fun and functional workshop we will learn how to use a hot tool to create a fashionable piece of wearable art by burning in a design on a felt hat! Create your own unique design, or pick from available stencils. Afterward, add embellishments from the Hat Bar - feathers, beading, lace, leather, and hat pins - to completely customize your piece! I will have tips, tricks, and guidance to ensure you walk away with something you want to show off!
Participants must be 18 years of age due to use of a hot tool. Cost of this workshop is $60, and includes your choice of wide brim hat (I will have different options available) and any embellishments from the hat bar!
