As you paddle across the calm waters, you’ll learn about the many recreational opportunities Lake Norman has to offer, along with important insights into the current challenges facing its shoreline and water quality. This educational component highlights ongoing environmental impacts and what’s being done to protect this vital resource.

- Camping available at Lake Norman State Park (tent sites & RV sites; resrvation required)
- Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to check in and prepare gear
- This program is open to ages 12 and up
- Youth under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian

To request a refund, please contact Susannah Bryant, Marketing and Communications Manager, at susannah.b@catawbariverkeeper.org. Refund eligibility is determined based on the timestamp of your email request and follows the schedule below:
- 8 or more days before the event – Full refund
- 7 days to 25 hours before the event – 50% refund
- 24 hours or less before the event – No refund
