Landscape Painting at Hi-Wire

Description

Enjoy the unique experience of painting an original landscape, in a beer garden in Asheville's colorful arts district, while receiving professional instruction, and sipping some cold and delicious local beer.

Local artist Erika Busse will share the fundamentals—materials required, color mixing, brushstroke techniques, and more—as she encourages and empowers you to express your creativity. To create a truly original painting, please bring a reference photo of a landscape that brings you peace or joy. Otherwise, reference photos of local Asheville beauties will be provided.

All materials (easels, tables, chairs, palettes, paint, brushes, 11x14"canvas) also provided; students’ paintings are theirs to take home. 

Maximum of 10 participants per class. Beer not included, please arrive 10 minutes early to grab your beverage before class starts.
