Join No Thyme to Cook and The Robert Collective for a one-night-only Oyster Bar takeover featuring two of DC’s most celebrated culinary talents, Chef Robert Wiedmaier of Marcel's and Chef Robert McGowan of Old Ebbitt Grill's famous oyster riot. Before oyster season closes, we’re bringing serious star power to Solomons for an evening of bold flavors, pristine shellfish, and chef-driven creativity.
Watch as the Roberts shuck, plate, and serve their signature oyster creations — each dish a reflection of the refined, high-energy dining scene that made them standouts in Washington. Every menu item is available for one ticket ($12 per ticket), and upon arrival you’ll receive a booklet of 10 tickets to taste your way through the lineup. Craving more? Additional tickets will be available at the bar.
This isn’t just an oyster festival — it’s a rare chance to experience big-city culinary talent in an intimate, waterfront setting. Come hungry. Bring friends. And toast the season in true chef-style fashion.

What To Expect
- Instructor: The Robert Collective and Chef Gwyn
- Length: Approximately 3 hours.
- Format: Experience: This is not a Hands-On Class. The Chef cooks the meal while you sit back and enjoy. Come with friends or family, mingle at your table, enjoy beverages, and relax in this restaurant-style evening.
- Location: First floor.
- Restrictions: Ages 16 and older. Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
All students will receive 10% off any scheduled public class(es) purchased that evening.
