The Guelph Youth Music Centre is excited to welcome the Wilfrid Laurier University Chamber Orchestra with artistic leadership by the Penderecki String Quartet on Sunday, November 19th at 3:00pm in the GYMC Recital Hall. The WLU chamber orchestra will perform a 60 minute program which includes F. Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 10 in B minor, K. Day's Variation V, and M. Richter's The Four Seasons Recomposed (Vivaldi).  The Guelph Youth Music Centre is committed to making music and music education accessible to kids, youth, and the broader Guelph Community. Admission to this concert will be “Pay As You Wish” and all are welcome to join.

Established in 1992, the GYMC is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to education, enrichment, and fostering the development of youth through music and the arts. The unique facility officially opened its doors in September 2001 after six years of renovations. The GYMC is an exciting cultural hub for children of all ages and backgrounds in the community.
