Lavender Days Festival at Dixon Family Farm

June 13–14, 2026 | Mechanicsville, Maryland

A Flower-Filled Weekend on Our Waterfront Farm

Step away from the noise and into the fields. Lavender Days is a relaxed, immersive farm festival designed for wandering, learning, listening to music, and savoring the beauty of peak lavender season.

Spend the day strolling through blooming lavender, wildflower, and cut-flower fields, enjoying live music from our shaded lawn lounge, and joining lavender field tours and distillation demonstrations to see how our harvest becomes essential oil. Along the way, learn about our farm, livestock, and bees, shop a curated lineup of artisan vendors, and enjoy food trucks and locally crafted beverages.

Shaded seating areas throughout the farm make it easy to relax, enjoy lunch, and soak in the views. Guests may also purchase a U-Cut bouquet or potted lavender plants to take a little piece of the farm home.

Dixon Family Farm

Growing tobacco since the mid-1600s, the Dixon Family Farm was established in 1881. and recognized as a Maryland Century Farm. Using biodynamic farming practices, we now grow acres of lavender, wine grapes, cut flowers, wildflowers, vegetables, herbs, and a variety of botanicals we use in our farm-made soaps and other products. We harvest and distill lavender and other botanicals every summer and use steam distillation to produce high-quality essential oils.
