Growing tobacco since the mid-1600s, the Dixon Family Farm was established in 1881. and recognized as a Maryland Century Farm. Using biodynamic farming practices, we now grow acres of lavender, wine grapes, cut flowers, wildflowers, vegetables, herbs, and a variety of botanicals we use in our farm-made soaps and other products. We harvest and distill lavender and other botanicals every summer and use steam distillation to produce high-quality essential oils. Celebrate summer in bloom at Maryland’s only waterfront lavender farm!
Stroll through rolling hills of over 5,000 blooming lavender plants, breathe in the calming scent of the fields, and enjoy a weekend full of music, creativity, and community.
Relax on the shaded lawn with live music, explore artisan vendors, and savor delicious offerings from local food trucks and craft beverage makers. Lavender distillation demos, field tours, and family activities make this an unforgettable experience for all ages.
