Description: What was life like in the 18th century? What clothes would people have worn? What foods did they eat? Were there chores for children? Learn the answers to these questions and more during this 1-hour program geared towards children ages 5 to 12 and their caregivers. As part of this program, there will be hands-on history activities and a tour of the historic home built for Betty Washington Lewis (George’s sister) and her husband, Fielding Lewis.

Pre-registration is encouraged as space is limited.

Program Times: 9:30am -10:30am    11:00am - 12:00pm     1:00pm - 2:00pm     2:30pm - 3:30pm

Tickets: $10/students; $5/parents & caregivers
