Description
Join us for a cozy, community-centered Leathercare Circle — an open gathering for cleaning, conditioning, polishing, and repairing leather items, as well as learning and connecting.
We invite you to any beloved leather piece (boots, harness, jacket, bag, etc.) and spend time caring for it alongside fellow bootblacks & leather enthusiasts. Whether you’re an experienced bootblack or are just leather-curious, we welcome you to join for informal skill-sharing, hands-on learning, observing technique, swapping stories, and simply hanging out together.
Come work on a project, ask questions, watch and learn, or just enjoy the company.
We encourage you to bring a snack to share if you’re able. Donations are appreciated to help support the space and the cost of shared supplies.
All experience levels. All genders. 18+.

Axel (He/Him) is a Transfag Leatherdyke, Baby Bootblack with 2+ years of experience
Vikan (she/they) is a queer masochist, photographer, and bootblack who’s been active in the NYC kink scene since 2011. A chaos-loving weirdo who is somehow both extremely outgoing and painfully shy, she runs on snacks, aerial arts, and an incurable fascination with leather. She loves the care, history, and intimacy of well-loved boots—and yes, she absolutely wants to touch yours… if you’ll let her.
