Description

The Ronny Loew Band delivers high-energy instrumental funk jazz rooted in the spontaneous spirit of Ronny’s early years performing on the saxophone at Boston’s legendary Wally’s Jazz Club. Founded in Minneapolis in 1997, the band blends jazz, funk, soul, R&B, and rock with adventurous improvisation that makes every performance unique.

Now, nearly three decades after its founding, the band is back with original members and fresh talent, performing dynamic original music, reimagined classics, and instrumental takes on ’80s R&B favorites by Earth, Wind & Fire, The Gap Band, Janet Jackson, and others. Shows also feature tributes to saxophone legends David Sanborn, Maceo Parker, and Grover Washington Jr.

No two shows are alike — high-energy, soulful, spontaneous, and built to groove.
