Living life authentically and true to form, Leila Anna Naderi also known as powerhouse vocalist, composer, and award-winning artist Leila Neverland aims to touch down at the iconic Dream Cafe in Penticton, June 15th, 2024.
This Kelowna-based sister from another mister is set to offer a powerful new presentation created especially for her South Okanagan community members. She will be joined onstage by Okanagan Symphony Orchestra players violinist Julia Watson, violist Fahlon Palm, and cellist Olivia Walsh to offer a quartet arrangement of her original love songs on strings, piano, and voice.
These women will undoubtedly pluck at your heart strings as all the while their fearless leader will weave in a mostly hilarious stream of revealing stories about what it means to love, to lust, to lose, and to grow.
For the second set, Vancouver-based jazz drummer Neil Gray will jump onstage and the duo will rip through her new art rock tunes including a few from her 2023 live album release Rose Coloured Romance.

Her live performance and hilarious storytelling “takes you right where you want to be” (Joseph Sanchez, The Indigenous Group of Seven). She pulls “inspiration from multiple genres to create her unique blend of music” (Global TV) and belts out “by far the most soulful sets ever” (Artistic Director, Fireside Festival).
Her newest recorded work Rose Coloured Romance (Live) is her first multi-instrument arrangement and speaks to the entirety of the human experience. Recorded live at the Rotary Centre for the Arts in Kelowna the album offers up the energy and spirit she brings to every stage. It offers an example of what it takes to move through hardship, heartbreak, and loss toward a renewed sense of self in the pursuit of limitless dreams.
Joining her onstage at The Dream Cafe, May 15th, 2024, is Penticton-based viola/violinist Fahlon Palm and Vancouver-based jazz drummer Neil Gray. The evening will offer up some of Ms. Naderi's newest works performed in trio, as duets, and solo. The night is also the first concert of her four-day Spring tour through to Vancouver and out to the island.
