Leslie's Ride

This event was created myself, Troy Goings, as a way to honor my mom Leslie Craig-Goings

Two years ago, I took my mom on a motorcycle ride for Mothers Day. We had such a fun time that day. My mom had a blast. Days after, she would ask me, "Son, I'd really like to go on another ride, when can we do that?' And of course, I would respond with, "soon ma, I promise!"

Well, my mom passed away suddenly on July 2nd 2025, and I never lived up to my promise, I never was able to take her on that ride. 

One day while washing my back, I had this crazy idea to start a charity ride in her name, and because she loved music so much, we would have a music festival after the ride. A ride to honor her, and a music festival to celebrate her.

And because my mom was a big advocate against domestic violence, and at one time in her life held the position of Head Coordinator of WEAVE (Woman Escaping A Violent Environment), I have decided that all of the proceeds from this event be donated on my moms behalf.

Now, I have given her a ride that I promised, as well as allowing my mom to continue to contribute to a cause she held so dear to her heart.

And so here we are! Leslie's Ride happening July 11th at The Grounds ( this is where they have the Placer County Fair is at )
