Join us for an evening of conversation with Ken, the co-author of 101 Lessons from the Dugout: What Baseball and Softball Can Teach Us about the Game of Life (Bloomsbury Publishing), and Lisa, the literary agent who collaborated with him to bring the book to publication. They’ll reflect on their individual careers and offer unique perspectives on the lessons of the game and the ever-evolving world of youth sports, media, and publishing.
Bios
Ken Davidoff is a longtime baseball writer and journalist who spent more than three decades covering Major League Baseball, including a decade as a columnist for New York Post. He has also written for Newsday and The Record of New Jersey and has appeared across major media outlets including ESPN and MLB Network. A former president of the Baseball Writers’ Association of America, Ken now teaches journalism as an adjunct professor and is the co-author of 101 Lessons from the Dugout.
Lisa Leshne is the founder of The Leshne Agency and a veteran of the media and publishing industries with more than three decades of experience. She began her career in international journalism as co-founder and publisher of The Prague Post and later held senior roles at companies including The Wall Street Journal and Accenture. Since launching her agency in 2011, she has represented a wide range of bestselling and award-winning authors, with a focus on narrative nonfiction, journalism, and culturally impactful stories.
