+ Optional Free Swim to 4PM
4-class series or individual class drop-in registrations include optional free swim time after class, as well as relaxation time on the grounds, by the creek, etc. and access to the cafe. You must be a registered participant in the course to access the Springs on this day; no public admission on programming days.
Level 1: Intro to Water Skills (ages 4 & up) :: This class helps students feel comfortable in the water. Level 1 participants work on learning to enter and exit water safely, open eyes underwater, pick up submerged object, swim on front and back using arm and leg actions, submerge mouth, nose and eyes.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Sarah Brady is a Sonoma native and her love of water began at a young age. She grew up swimming on swim teams throughout school and playing water polo in high school. For over 25 years she's been teaching youth here in our valley about water safety, skills and fun! Sarah is loved by many families and students and shares, "I can honestly say that I love my job." She's honored to teach swim lessons throughout the area as well as starting here at Morton's for our May pilot program!
Registration & Cancellation / Refund Policies:
If you miss a class in your series due to illness or planned/unexpected personal circumstances we are not able to offer refunds, thank you for understanding. For all advance cancellation and/or refund requests, these must be in writing and emailed to: laurie@mortonswarmsprings.com and will be fully OR partially refunded following the below schedule.
IF written cancelation request is received (via email):
- 14 or MORE days prior to first day of class, 75% of course fees are refundable.
- 8-13 days prior to first day of class, 50% of course fees are refundable.
- 7 days or LESS before the first day of class, 0% of the course fees are refundable.
Located in the heart of Sonoma, in a place known as the Valley of the Moon, this diverse and wondrous geothermal springs sanctuary is the last of its kind. Bordering Sonoma Creek and nestled among a mature canopy of large oaks with open meadows and rolling hills, these Springs uplift the very best of whole family wellness and recreation. People have come to these Springs for generations to soak in the healing waters and to gather for picnics and reunions, retreats and organizational meetings, birthdays and weddings, and for nature-based youth camps and field trips. The temperature on all three pools range from 85° F to 94° F, depending on weather (we shoot for cooler on hot days and warmer on cooler days).
