Description
The LEYTE Dance Theatre is a group of young professional dancers from Tacloban, LEYTE one of the islands and province in the Philippines. Some of their members are survivors of Typhoon Haiyan, a deadly typhoon that hit and damaged the city of Tacloban causing thousands of fatalities in 2013. This is their 3rd US tour for this multi-awarded national dance group. Please come and join us and be amazed and mesmerized by their precise and graceful dance movements and enjoy the beautiful costumes they wear to compliment each dance that tells a story from the different regions of the Philippines. This performance is for the whole family.
LIVE "Market" will be available from 5:30PM to 7PM before SHOWTIME @7PM
PROGRAM will start at 7PM
Filipino food and delicacies will be availbale for purchase. There will also be Arts and Crafts display for sale as well as goods and services.
It's a "BARRIO FIESTA", so come and JOIN the festivities and bring the whole family and your friends and get involved with our rich culture through our colorful and lively dances
